Daniel Rawlins


Daniel earned a Bachelor of Arts in Chinese (1992) and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (1997) from The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. After graduation, he had a successful career as a mechanical engineer for over 15 years. In 2008, while Daniel continued working as an engineer, he pursued a law degree from Capital University Law School in Columbus, Ohio. He graduated in the spring of 2012 and passed the North Carolina State Bar Exam that summer. Dan has earned the respect of his peers through his transactional practice in estate planning and administration, special needs trusts, gun trusts, business organization, contracts, and real estate closings. His litigation practice includes real estate matters, will contests (also known as caveat proceedings), and other estate disputes. He has Spent time working in Asia and speaks Mandarin Chinese. When Daniel is not working or enjoying time with his family, he serves his community as a member of the Water and Sewer Advisory Board for the Town of Hillsborough and as a volunteer coach of youth soccer and football.
